Mitzi Gibson, MSPT
Ms. Gibson received her Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 1995. She continued her education with post-graduate training in the area of Women's Health. A former National Director of Women's Health for the HealthSouth Corporation and a former national instructor in the area of Women's Health, Ms. Gibson is now in private practice in Little Rock, AR. A native of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Ms. Gibson now resides in Little Rock, Arkansas. An active member of the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS) and the Interstitial Cystitis Association (ICA),
Ms. Gibson specializes in the area of Women's Health physical therapy including prenatal and postpartum issues and pelvic floor dysfunction which includes treatment for both male and female patients. Additionally, Ms. Gibson is very active in the treatment of
general orthopedic conditions.
Sam Pruitt, DPT
A native of Wichita, KS; In 2008 Sam graduated from Harding University with a
Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. Sam graduated in 2011 with a
Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Wichita State University and joined the
Advanced Physical Therapy team in the Spring of 2011. Sam is specialized in dry
needling and treatment for pre- and postnatal issues and enjoys treatment of
post operative knees and the spine. She is currently pursuing an orthopedic
track for certification in manual therapy. She enjoys running, Dateline of every
variety, and spending time with her husband.
Amanda Brooks-Ritchie, DPT, PRPC, COMT
Amanda completed a Bachelors of Science in Health Science Studies from Baylor
University. She graduated from Texas Tech University Health Science Center with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
She was awarded a specialized certification in pelvic rehabilitation (PRPC)
through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is also
certified in advanced orthopedic manual therapy for the entire spine (COMT-Spine) through the International Academy of Orthopedic
Medicine. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Science in Rehabilitation
Sciences with emphasis on Higher
Education. Amanda joined the Advanced Physical
Therapy team in the summer of 2012. She is a native Texan and enjoys
cycling, cooking, and traveling with her husband.
||Ryan Overbay, DPT
Ryan joined the Advanced Physical Therapy team in the spring of 2012. A
Native of Paragould, Arkansas, Ryan graduated from Harding University in 2006
with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. Ryan attended Missouri State
University and graduated in 2010 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Ryan is
a big sports fan and enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, his
son Grant, family and friends.
Sandy McDonald, PT
Mrs. McDonald received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from UT
Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX in 1992. She has experience in many
different areas of physical therapy including inpatient and outpatient
rehabilitation of neurological disorders and of post-surgical and general
orthopedic conditions in clients of all ages.
In 1997 Mrs. McDonald
started her post graduate training in the area of Women's Health. She also
received her Master's Degree in Adult Education from UALR in 1999. She then
developed training programs for use in assisted living centers and nursing homes
to help (male and female) residents with incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction,
and pelvic pain issues. She joined the Advanced Physical Therapy team in July
Mrs. McDonald is a native of Irving, TX but is proud to call
central Arkansas her home. She enjoys cheering on the Razorback football team
with her husband and sons and is active in church activities and in her
children's school and sports activities.
Laura Blaylock, DPT
Laura was born in Little Rock but grew up in Louisiana. She
graduated in 2009 with her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from
the University of Louisiana at Monroe and in 2013, she completed her
Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the LSU Health Sciences Center. She is
a big fan of the Razorbacks and a marathon runner; she has a goal to run
a marathon in every state. Laura also loves to read, ride bikes and
spend time with family and friends.
Tory Tate, Office Manager
A native of Pearlington, Mississippi, Tory graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast
Community College in May of 2001 with an Associate of Applied Science in Travel
and Tourism Management. In December of 2006, Tory graduated from Jacksonville
State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Tory enjoys spending
time with her family, photography, traveling, and watching basketball.

A native of Harmony Grove/Benton, Trisha attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she graduated with a degree in education. A former Lady Razorback, Trisha has always enjoyed sports and is now an avid golfer. When not on the golf course, Trisha enjoys traveling, working in her yard, and exercising.
Kim Sanders, Office Staff
Kim joined the Advanced Physical Therapy team in August of 2012. She graduated
from the University of Central Arkansas in 2010 with a degree in Art History and
completed her Master's degree at the University
of Arkansas in Little Rock in 2013. Her favorite activities include knitting, playing piano
and violin, and spending time
with her husband and cats.
Jessica "JJ" Hulsey, PTA|
Jessica Jean "JJ"
Husley recieved her liberal arts degree in 2004 from Arkansas State
University- Newport and went on to Arkansas State University-Jonesboro to
pursue an Associate PTA degree which she completed in 2007. She is a native
Texan but has been blessed to have the opportunity to live in different
cities in Texas and Arkansas. She enjoys spending time with her
family, going to church, cleaning and going out to eat. JJ joined our team
in March 2014.

Brittani was born in Little Rock but has lived in Cabot most of her
life. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her husband and
two children, Bentley and Braylynn. Her favorite hobbies include hunting,
fishing and watching Razorback football. Brittani joined the APTC family
in March 2014.

Sam is from Lincoln, NE where he attended
the University of Nebraska. He graduated with his bachelor's degree in
Engineering in 2009. He attended physical therapy school at A.T. Still
University in Mesa, AZ. In his spare time, Sam enjoys watching sports
(he's a die-hard Kansas State fanatic), exercising, and spending time
with his family and friends.
from Jonesboro, AR. She is currently finishing her prerequisite courses
for nursing school. During her spare time she enjoys being outside,
crafting and volunteering to help others.
||Tyler Bass, Therapy
Born and raised in
Little Rock, AR, Tyler is a die-hard vegan and is crazy about anything
green. He loves spending time with his family friends and his favorite
animal is the elusive snow leopard. Tyler is an honorary member of the
Red Hat Society. His favorite pastimes include juicing, gardening, and

Bethany is from Cabot, AR and is a recent
graduate of Harding University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
When asked what she enjoys most about working in a PT clinic, she said
she loved that patients always feel better when they leave than when
they walk in. When not at work, she loves playing with her 1-year-old
daughter, riding bikes with her family, and baking.
