Your Birth, Your Way
Start Your Support Journey Today
Doula care means having continuous support during pregnancy, birth, and beyond. With comfort measures, guidance, and encouragement, a doula helps you feel calm, informed, and empowered—so your birth experience reflects your needs and values.

What do Birth Doulas do?
Birth Doulas provide physical, emotional, and informational support for mothers and birth partners to enable them to make informed decisions about their care. Doulas support parents in any chosen birthing place, whether that be in a hospital or your home.
- Hospital Births – Support navigating medical settings while ensuring comfort and advocacy.
- Home Births – Steady, grounding presence in the comfort of your own home.
- Unmedicated / Natural Births – Techniques for pain management, positioning, and emotional reassurance.
- Epidural / Medicated Births – Ongoing support, comfort, and guidance even with medical pain relief.
- Cesarean Births – Emotional and practical support before, during, and after surgery.
- VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) – Encouragement and advocacy throughout your unique birth journey.
- Induced Labor – Helping manage the process with calm, comfort measures, and informed guidance.

- Partner support guidance – helping your partner feel confident and involved in providing care and encouragement.
- Resource sharing – connecting you with evidence-based information, local providers, and helpful tools for pregnancy and postpartum.
- Answering questions – offering a safe space to talk openly about fears, expectations, and what matters most to you.

client testimonial
"I highly recommend Advanced Physical Therapy. Four months ago I started personal training with Stephen Crawford. He has been awesome to work with. Stephen is professional, patient, and understanding. I had a stroke a year ago, and Stephen designed a fitness plan for me that incorporates activities to address my needs. It has improved my strength, flexibility, and balance. In addition, Stephen’s encouragement has motivated me to work through challenging issues related to my stroke. I am very pleased with my progress and feel confident with continued training I will attain my goals."
